Thank you to all the parents who dressed their child up for 101th day of school and completing the 100th poster. I know the communication was a little confusing with the sub and all. Monday 02/03/14

Hi! Today was a wonderful Monday! So happy to have a full week of school with no snow day interruptions! This week we will be working very hard on our nonfiction writing as students research and write about their animal of choice. Ask your child what animal they chose and what they have learned about this animal so far? (This will be a huge help, in activating their minds to think about all they have learned or how much more research they still need to do.) In Math today we learned about borrowing and making a ten to add numbers.  This was pretty challenging, and we will spend some extra days on it.

Weekly Words:
Yellow: saw, sock, soap, seal, six/ horse, house, hose, hat, hay/ shirt, ship, sheep, shark, shoe

Green: mad, had, bad, pad, glad/ red, fed, led, shed, sled/ tab, lab, grab, cab/ sob, rob, blob, glob, job
