Happy Tuesday!

Hi! Today is Day 1 of Spelling and Sight Words even though its Tuesday. Please make sure your child keeps their Spelling homework inside the correct notebook and not mixed up with their Sight Word notebook. Today we read the Little Blue Truck and revisited Rainbow Fish. Students worked on writing about reading with writing full sentences. We are working on extended simple sentences such as "The fish was mean." to "The fish was mean because he didn't want to share is silver scales."  In Math we worked on word problems for addition and drawing circles (counters) to help us add. Also, the children visited the school's library today and checked out books. This book can stay at home for 1 week and return them back next Tuesday for Library. You can also use this book for nightly reading for the reading log. Lastly, today in the Orange Folder you will find many "back to school" handouts please review and send back only the handouts that require you to complete and return to school.

Happy Tuesday!
