Hi! Today was another great day! We read the story When I was Little for reading. Then we wrote our own ideas about things we did when we were little and how much we have grown. In Math we worked on making addition sentences for the sum of ten. I noticed in some students homework last night that many students did not use to color crayons to illustrate the addends. Please read the directions carefully and use 2 different color crayons so your child can visual see why 6+4=10. In writing, we are working on learning to add more details to our pictures, to add more words to our sentences, and really pushing ourselves to do the things real writers do!

Homework:
Spelling: 5 really good sentences and 5 pictures
Math: 2 workbook pages on adding
Reading: don't forget to practice reading and sight words
Media Consent and Release form: please send back to school ASAP
