Hi!
We are learning about different types of animals and
their physical features. As well as, discussing the different habits animals
live in. I sent home with your child a sheet with detailed directions for
project, animal book, and research note worksheet.
Your child will need to complete a shoe-box projects.
In this project, students will create a shoe-box 3D diorama about an animal, as
well as a written report.
The diorama
will need to include the animal in its habitat, also the type of food the
animal eats (plants, other animals, or both). This will be shared in class.
---Written report will be done in class ONLY!---

Please feel free to help your child create the
diorama- if you work on it together, be sure to engage in discussion about what
your child has been learning in class about the particular animal they are
assigned to.
Homework:
Math: workbook page on adding doubles 49-50
Reading: Book Report and practice reading
Science: Get started on animal research
Leaves: collect 5 leaves and bring them in on Monday!
ID Program: FREE program that will give you and your child and ID to have in-case for emergencies. Please send back permission slips.
NO SCHOOL FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!
