Tuesday 01-20-15

Hi!

Spelling words were given out last Friday (since we didn't have school on Monday). Therefore, students should have come to school today with their 5 Times Each. Please make sure your child completes both Monday and Tuesday's homework if they missed Monday's homework.

Also, the Math lesson from last Thursday and Friday seemed to be very challenging for students. Please note that this is just one way the book is suggesting students learn to subtract. However, for the test and homework... they can choose from the many ways we learned how to subtract depending on which way works best for them.

Homework:
Spelling: 10 sentences, with no pictures... make sure there are capitals letters and proper end-marks

*If you need the words... please scroll down to Friday/Monday post :)

Phonics: pages 155-158

Reading; practice sight words and practice reading

Math: Workbook page on word problems page 83-84
