Monday 10/07/13

Hi! Today was a busy Monday! This week we are reading "Where the Wild Things Are" and "McDuff and the Baby." We are working on using doubles to add and subtract in a Math. In science, we will be wrapping up Chapter 2 on Plants. In Social Studies, we will continue to work on Leaders and Communities. Lastly, in Writing we are working on our second narrative and working on slowing down to tell our stories in intsy bitsy steps!

Homework: 
Spelling: 3 times each (remember students have differentiated list)

Math: Workbook page on using doubles to add


Reading: practice sight words (noise, these,time, like, has, she, we've, those, her, quiet) and practice reading


Spelling Words:
Yellow: six, ring, rug, sink, sock, rain, sun, roof, rope, seal, road, soap

Green: beg, sled, leg, sell, wet, tell, Meg, shell, led, peg, met, wed, bet, get, fell, red

Blue: stick, kick, pin, dice, prize five, gift, hike, life, flip, dish, rich, thin, swim, nice, drive, spill, nine
