Tuesday 10/15/13

Hi! Today was a busy day! This week we are reading Chrysanthemum in reading. In math we are adding using a ten frame as another strategy for adding. Also, today we started to practice our Monsters Inc. Performance for the Halloween Assembly. You should see your child coming home and practicing some dance moves! 

Homework: 
Spelling: Day1-2: 3times each and 5 sentences



Spelling Words:
Yellow: soup, bug, map, rag, mit, bag, band, rake, mop, sun, road, seal, boat, rock, mad, sand

Green: chick, chair, shirt, chimney, shell, check, chin, shadow, shelf, shoe, cheese, ship

Blue: clock, pot, rope, job, hope, those, rode, hot, hose, joke, home, rock, come, hole, some, spot, chop, stove


Math: Workbook page on ten frame

Reading: Practice sight words and practice reading

Sight Words: aunt, would, calls, uncle, they, more, name, hate, real, while



P.S. Your child is bringing home many handouts for SES After School programs. If interested please choose a program and register your child as soon as possible. I will be teaching the Newton program.
