Today we read the story The Thirteen Nights of Halloween for our emergent reader this week. We worked on distinguishing fantasy from realistic details. In math we started a new chapter on subtraction. Today the students learned to count backwards to help them subtraction. For those students struggling with count back you can have your child make a number line from 0-12 for tonight's homework.
P.S. Tomorrow is Mr. Barrera's birthday and as the gift to the students they can come out of uniform all week!!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!
