Tuesday 10/08/13

Hi! Today we continued to learn about using double facts to help us do math faster. This is a challenging skill but once doubles are mastered it will help them become better mathematicians!!! Today, I also showed students another way to master adding doubles by counting by 2's (something we do every morning, most students made the connections). In reading, we took our REACH assessment that will be used to measure student growth for reading comprehension!

Homework:
Spelling: 5 really good sentences and pictures that illustrate sentences

Reading: practice sight words and practice reading

Math: workbook page on adding with doubles
